The Annual Old Town Criers Competition is a traditional event for Hastings Old Town Carnival Week, the male and female winners of the competition are invited to key events in the week to call out the news, and take home the trophies for a year. Judges award marks based on quality of voice, accuracy of delivery and visual appearance. Previous winners have worn traditional town criers outfits to give them the edge, but more importantly have been able to project their voice well! A great event to watch, and even better to participate. Every entrant gets a bottle of wine for their effort. Top Prize is a Case of Wine for both Lady and Gentleman winners. Register at Reeves Corner at 7.00 for 7.30pm start. A High Street Traders Event
