The beach concert took place on the beach behind the lifeboat station since 19?? and in 20?? moved to The Stade Open Space, and became known as the Nearly on the Beach Concert.
Some controversy exists around the move to the Stade open space, since it meant that alcohol was no longer allowed to be brought on-site, and so a licensed bar was provided instead.
In the past the beach concert was run by ???? but when they could not longer run it, the ???? stepped in to keep it going.
