Guided Tour St Mary in the Castle2022

Meet outside St Mary in the Castle Cafe. As part of Old Town Carnival Week, we would like to welcome you to St Mary in the Castle for a guided tour. St Mary in the Castle is a beautiful Grade 2* listed building which has been run by the St Mary in the Castle Charitable Trust as a live music, arts, and culture venue for the last ten years. The tour will give you an insight through the varied and colourful 197-year-old history of this stunning building. We will also touch on the history of the adjoining building, No.7 Pelham Crescent. You will gain access to some areas usually unseen by the public. The tour is Free, but there are limited spaces, so booking is essential. To book a place, please call 01424 715880. When placing your booking please let us know if you have any access requirements to attend this event. Please note that a small portion of the tour is not accessible for wheelchair users. Although this is a free event, any voluntary donations are gratefully received, and donations collected on the day will be split between The St Mary in the Castle Charitable Trust and The Hastings Old Town Carnival Association. Our auditorium bar, outside terrace and portico will be open so you will have the opportunity to purchase refreshments and relax overlooking the sea after the tour if you so wish.
