The treasure trail traditionally starts at winkle Island, and usually takes place at roughly the same time as the Seaboot Race.

Participants usually go in fancy dress, and have to visit various pubs in the Old Town and answer questions.

Compared to the pram race, this is generally a more sophisticated and sedate way to explore the old town pubs.
