Tickets £6 can be booked online at www.ohps.org.uk or from Hastings Fishermen’s Museum, Rock-a-Nore Road, open daily 11-5. Each walk is limited to 10 people this year. Join us for a tour of Hastings Old Town, the ancient Cinque Port, with its wealth of historic buildings, twittens and cat creeps. We regret that steep steps, uneven paths and narrow passage ways make this walk not accessible to everyone. These are the original, Old Town walks, organised and led by the Charity’s experienced volunteer guides. The walks start at the top of the West Hill and proceeds gently downhill into and around Hastings Old Town. Many of the buildings have intriguing histories. Find out why Hastings became the most fashionable of resorts, the town that celebrities flocked to. Discover a town steeped in history, going back far beyond 1066 and forward beyond its front-line position in the Second World War. Allow 2 hours. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
