Hastings Old Town Carnival Parade2023

CARNIVAL DAY PARADE. THEME - Seaside Fun Through the Years” 13:00 Register at the Stade Hall (Stade Open Space) 4.30pm Registration Closes 4pm Assembly starts in Rock -a- Nore Car Park 5:00 pm PARADE STARTS 12 noon to 4pm Carnival Day events on the Stade Open Space Fancy Dress Competition (open to all ages) from 12 noon. Competition will be judged and prizes given for the best fancy dress. Various charity stalls- raising awareness, fun activities and therapeutic experiences. Family fun Ride & games •Stage performances from 1.30pm featuring Pheebs Sing School, Hause of Gorgeous ( Burlesque), White Rock Summer Youth, Daisy Chain and more... ENTRY FORM for Carnival Parade MUST BE RETURNED BY NOON ON FRIDAY 4TH AUGUST. Available from: The Jenny Lind, High Street and Hastings History House, 21 Courthouse St. or can be downloaded from the website where you can also apply on line https://www.hastingsoldtowncarnival.co.uk. Please do not throw coins (or anything else!) at the procession – we do not want any injuries or damage to vehicles, but please throw as much money as you like at the collecting boxes.

Hastings Carnival is a glass free event, please do not bring glass bottles to the street.

• All vehicular entries must be accompanied by 2 walking marshals. Please enter their names & addresses overleaf.
• If you have a motor vehicle please include a copy of your current vehicle insurance document.
• If you are a performance group please include a copy of your public liability insurance.
• To collect for charity-remember to fill the edges of the road and let people give.
