Design a Tub Competition2023

Councillor James Bacon is organizing a Design a Tub competition during Carnival week. “In celebration of my great-great grandfather, Hastings Old Town legend Biddy the Tubman, I am organising this competition. Please feel free to design a tub on paper or create your own tub and take a photo" To find out more about Biddy, visit the Fishermen's Museum in Rock a Nore and see Biddy's original tub. The competition is open to all ages and the deadline for entries is Friday 4th August at 5pm. Entries will be on display in Hastings History House, Courthouse Street. Feel free to think out of the box and be as colourful and unique as possible. Please send your entries to Councillor James Bacon via email: cllr.james.bacon@hastings.gov.uk or by post to Muriel Matters House, Breeds Place Hastings TN34 3UY. Alternatively feel free to drop these off at Hastings History House at 21 Courthouse Street. Please include your name age and contact details. Thank you in advance for your entries.
