Stade Orientation Walk 2009 - Hastings Old Town Carnival Week

Stade Orientation Walk2009

What does RX on Hastings boats stand for? What’s a Boy Ashore? What’s the link between a Hastings fish & chip shop and Shakespeare? If you’d like to know the answers to these questions and more, come along on the walk. Starting at the Old Town Museum, the walk takes in Winkle Island, the East Well, the Fishermens Museum and the Hastings fishing fleet. Led by Stade Volunteer Guides as part of the Stade Education Project. Places limited to 15 people per tour. The walk lasts approx one hour and covers some uneven ground. Adults £2: Children under 16 £1. It is not recommended for people with wheelchairs/mobility problems, but a special tour can be arranged to suit your needs by phoning Beatrice Cole on 01424 451167.
